Obtain a copy of or conduct an informal “Hardware Inventory” that identifies what hardware devices are available to teachers and students. As best as you can, identify all of the technology equipment; this would include, but is not limited to the types of devices listed below. Make note of what equipment is networked together, what procedures are in place for scheduling equipment or computer lab time, and what conditions exist that limit access to this equipment.

For your report, write a 2-3 page summary of the hardware that is available. Include your personal observations on such items as: how easy/difficult it is for classroom teachers to make use of this equipment, what safeguards (if any) are in place to protect the equipment from theft or vandalism, whether or not classroom teachers feel adequately trained to use the available equipment, etc.

(You are not required to include the complete inventory list in your submitted report, although if it is available in electronic format or if you can scan it into your report, you may include it as an appendix.)
